Belize is a cluntry located in South America and was formaly known as British Honduras before becoming independent in 1981.
Belize has a large mix of cultures speaking many different languages with Spanish being the most widely spoken.
The countries size measures approx 8800 square miles and has a population of around 320,000 people, one of the lowest in Central America as well as the world.
